A new Forex Robot claiming to be better than both Forex Megadroid and FAPTurbo is planning it’s worldwide launch sometime in August 2009. Here’s their claim:

I’ve been in talks with the developers already and have been lucky enough to be included as part of their Beta Test group. Which means:

Check out the Strategy Tester Report the developers sent me today… this proves the claims that robot is more accurate than Forex Megadroid and FAPTurbo.
Sorry, but you can’t effectively backtest scalpers like this on MT4. Putting aside the issue of interpolated ticks, the tester takes the spread from then current price at the start of testing. This is then used for the whole backtest.
It needs live trading account statement to be meaningful.
On top of that this does like over optimisation has been done.

I already have Forex Nitro running on a Demo account with Alpari UK, so will also share the results of the forward test. The backtest will simply:
1) Prove their claims are true and backtest results are valid
2) Give an indication of how profitable this new Forex Robot might be
So far, it has traded once in 1 week at a small loss and their backtest results look very similar to mine.

I’m curious what this EA will do with Alpari UK’s new Flexible Spreads ?
For example EURUSD is changing between 1.6 – 2.6 pips, even daytime!
Does the Nitro have the same issues with different brokers giving different results like Megadriod does?

Most forex robots give different results depending on the forex broker you are using. It’s all down to the spread,
swap rate and even the time it takes to execute the trade. So in short, yes, Forex Nitro will probably give diffrent results, like Forex Megadroid, depending on which broker you use.

I think they may have. My live and demo results are not showing the same consistency they promised inline with Forex MegaDroid and FapTurbo.

It’s still a bit too early to give an accurate picture, so far I only have a couple of weeks of live and demo trading. By the time they launch (TBC) I’ll be able to show everyone a more realistic picture of how Nitro will perform.

Hi Mo, Here’s a snippet from a recent email I sent to my subscribers about FX Nitro:
I can finally announce the release of the much awaited
Forex Robot “FX Nitro”.
My blog post of a few months ago showed a table boasting this robot
was more accurate than Forex MegaDroid and FAPTurbo (both
with accuracy rates of over 95%).
FX Nitro creator Johnny Livermore gave me an early copy of the robot
to review and my results were as follows:
> Back Tests: Matched the curve promoted on their site
> Demo Trades: Running at a small loss after two weeks
> Live Trades: Running at a loss after two weeks
With such poor results I turned it off and wondered if something was
wrong with the version I had…
So I contacted Johnny directly and asked if I had the latest version
(because he sent me a few). He couldn’t tell me for sure if the version
I had was correct… So I asked if he had an MT4Stats Live Trading
account from one of his beta testers so that I could verify the results…
and he sent me this link: http://fxnitro.mt4stats.com
As you can see the results are near perfect (albeit only for the past two weeks).
Conclusion: The jury is still out on FXNitro, the MT4Stats results look very
much like what I’m currently seeing with Forex MegaDroid and a lot better
than a lot of the other robots out there.
If you’re curious you could try it out to see how it performs and get you money
back before the 60 day return period if the results are no good.
